5 days in arkansas and this is how it went down 👇🏾 5 days in arkansas and this is how it went down 👇🏾 day 1 — there’s me @musiccitiesevents awards 🏆🧚🏾‍♀️💫 supr vibey what an experience to b invited on the juror panel to help select the winner of each category. my fave thing was discovering all the hidden gems around the world and hearing the stories of global nominees! 🥂 congrats! day 2 & 3 — as it was arkansas music week, i attended the convention where i got to meet many movers & shakers. one of them being @kolfest ✨ as international delegates, we organised a showcase at @pinpointfayar (in less than 3 hours!) and your girl was on the line-up — complexities! day 4 — loved wandering the streets of fayetteville & bentonville, discovering indie shops + coffee shops 💖🛍️☕️ snapped pics at B.C.’s blues shack, rehearsed in the hotel, hit the record shop…picked up an album on cassette + was gifted a vinyl of local artists @fayettevillear thanks! then checked out some beautiful art @crystalbridgesmuseum 🔮 day 5 — finally got my ramen 🍜 and vibed to sideCHICK w/ my uber driver 🚕 (i think he was feelin’ it!) overall, this trip was defo givinggg … i feel very inspired from the magic. defo got something for you all! 😘 #WondRWomN #sideCHICK #arkansas #america #musiccitiesawards #indie #travelling #femalerapper #solotraveller
the recfest ‘25 💖🧡 august 16th 2025 will go down the recfest ‘25 💖🧡 august 16th 2025 will go down in history as a v. special day for me 😁 …from scribblin’ down the proposal in a random pub—workspace—hotel room, pitching the idea, all the way to steppin’ on stage + livin’ the moment! 🥺✨ retrospectively, the ‘chaos’ become the most memorable part i.e. waking up in the middle of the night & making a mental note “remember to buy more blu tac & strong tape!” noted. + any challenge *correction* the solution to the challenge becomes an unforgettable moment within itself. “i did it” is so much more than the completion of the event. “i did it” is i went for it before it happened, “i did it” is when i wasn’t even up for it, i pushed through and “𝑖 did it” is giving yourself recognition, before anyone else does. awwh mannn! 😁 huge thank you to my @the_recshop fam, artists, attendees + all our sponsors & partners @mallwoodgreen @woodgreenbid @haringeycouncil @strongroom.studios @voidacoustics @arcadiasolutionsav + every single hand that helped make this possible 🫶🏾 next stop 📍✈️🇺🇸 #WondRWomN #therecfest #therecshop #woodgreen #haringey #community #festival #entrepreneur #musician

i can safely say that, as we approach 2/3 of this i can safely say that, as we approach 2/3 of this year, this project has been one of my biggest highlights ✨💖 2 years ago, i birthed my own festival w/ @the_recshop simply because i love doing stuff that isn’t being done (like…a festival in a shopping centre ??? 🏬🛍️) but most importantly — representing? advocating? being somewhat an ambassador of something much bigger than myself. i’m very blessed to constantly find myself in the mix of things…seeing what’s going on over here & what could (and should!) b goin on over there… then cookin up my own concoction of what that looks like. somewhere in the horizon, i saw this gem ‘The RecFest’ - a free community festival, 30+ acts, unlimited experiences. i’m so grateful for the support from @mallwoodgreen @woodgreenbid @ivanscakes @haringeycouncil @voidacoustics @arcadiasolutionsav @strongroom.venue & my @the_recfest team! special thank you to one of my faves + valued team members @anielajs for designing & branding The RecFest 2025 💖🧡 1 more week to go! 📅 & i’m really tryin to see you there! lots of love, yours truly, WondRWomN p.s. i got this new mini pink suitcase that’s become my handbag lol — next stop: 📍✈️✌🏾🇮🇹 then 🇺🇸 yes it’s a sign! #therecfest2025 #WondRWomN #therecshop #woodgreen #haringey #community
